Initially, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Geology from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1985. Following this scientific milestone, he pursued an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Houston, USA. He successfully graduated from this American institution in 1988.
His deep passion for corporate thinking and investment decision-making later led him to pursue higher education. Therefore, he completed a Doctorate in Strategic Management from the University of Indonesia in 2013. Furthermore, he achieved this advanced degree with the prestigious cum laude distinction.
Dr. Noerhadi’s professional career began in the financial sector, where he quickly established himself as an influential executive. For instance, from 1996 to 1999, he served as the President Director of the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Notably, this critical period marked substantial technological advancements and structural modernizations in Indonesia’s financial market infrastructure.
Following this successful tenure, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Indonesia as a Partner in Corporate Finance. From 1999 to 2005, he provided top-tier advisory services on cross-border mergers, corporate acquisitions, and regional investment strategies.
Thereafter, his corporate expertise gained wider recognition when PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk appointed him as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He held this crucial position from 2005 to 2011. In this strategic role, he expertly oversaw massive financial operations during a critical global expansion phase of the leading energy firm.
In 2011, Dr. Noerhadi founded Creador Indonesia, a prominent private equity firm focusing on strategic growth investments. As Chairman, he has been highly instrumental in steering the firm’s investment portfolios across South and Southeast Asia. His active portfolio management covers growth markets in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Government officials appointed him as an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA). Currently, he serves as an Independent Commissioner at Data Center Infrastructure Indonesia Tbk (EDGE) and PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk. Previously, he also held executive positions as an Independent Commissioner at PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk and President Commissioner at PT Mandiri Sekuritas.
